The Price Is Right Theme Song hits. The crowd boos as NIWA commissioner Bob Barker steps onto the entrance stage. He has a mic in hand and begins to speak.
Bob: I am sure have heard about a new title being created. It is true that there is a new title being created. It is called the Venue Championship. The winner will be determined in a Battle Royal at this months super show entitled Hot As Hell. Also, some of the EMW superstars will qualify for the match. Speaking of EMW, the Venue Championship will be an inter-promotional championship. The first of our qualifying matches will be tonight. So without further ado... On with the show.
Venue Championship Battle Royal Qualifying Match
Ace vs. Gargamel
Ref: Big John McCarthy
Ace nails Gargamel with a Big Boot as soon as the opening bell sounds. Ace punches away at him on the mat as Gargamel gives desperation shots to get him off, does so, comes off the ropes, Ace gives him an Over The Head Belly To Belly Suplex, cover, and a two count. He picks up Gargamel, hits a picture perfect Northern Lights Suplex with the bridge, and a two count. Gargamel rakes Ace in the face, knees him in the face, goes for a kick, but Ace catches him, and turns it into a Capture Suplex. Ace is getting pumped and calls for the end. Ace picks up Gargamel, lands a kick to the gut, grabs Gargamel, nails the Ace of Spades, makes the cover, and gets the three. Ace qualifies for the Venue Championship Battle Royal at Hot As Hell.
A video package is being shown. It highlights Jet Li laying a beat down on Jackie Chan after his match at the show in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It ends with Jet Li smiling about what he did.
Vanna White is standing by with Jet Li.
Vanna: 48 hours ago you attacked Jackie Chan with a steel chair. Everybody wants to know why you did it?
Jet: Vanna, it is very simple. I did it because I lost to Jackie Chan once again. I will not rest until I obtain the victory I am seeking. We will face off again and this time, mark my words, I will beat Jackie like I should have!
Jet Li vs. Spider-Man
Ref: Herb Dean
The two start with chain wrestling with nether person seeming to get the upper hand and go to a stand off. The two look to tie up again, Jet Li kicks Spider-Man in the knee to stop slow the pace, punches Spidey down to the mat, grabs him by head, slams his head to the mat over, and over again. Li Irish Whips Spidey, misses a roundhouse, Spidey hits Li with a Springboard Cross Body, cover and a two count. Li quickly gets up, clotheslines Spidey, grabs Spidey, and puts him in a Camel Clutch. The fans starts getting behind Spider-Man, Spidey begins to fight out of the move, gets to his feet with Li on his back, and rams him into the buckle behind him. Jet Li starts to work on tearing off the turnbuckle pad as the ref checks on Spider-Man. Suddenly Jackie Chan comes from out of the crowd, grabs Li, rams Li’s head on the steel buckle bolt which dazes Li. Spidey takes advantage, connects with the Spidey Sense, and gets the three. Jackie Chan looks satisfied with costing Jet Li the match as he heads to the back.
Backstage Jackie Chan is celebrating happy with what he did. Mr. C.C.'s hears all the commotion and steps out of his office to see what is going on.
Mr. C.C.: What the hell Jackie, could you be anymore louder?
Jackie: Sorry Mr. C.C., but I am pumped that I got some revenge on Jet Li for him attacking me.
Mr. C.C.: I am so happy for you! Since you two can't keep your hands off each other, I am going to put an end to this once and for all. It will you Jackie Chan vs. your nemesis Jet Li in a Last Man Standing Match at Hot Is Hell.
Mr. C.C. goes back into his office leaving Jackie Chan a mixed bag of emotion.
Venue Championship Battle Royal Qualifying Match
Captain Jack Sparrow vs. Chris Brown
Ref: Mario Yamasaki
The two lockup, Captain Jack Sparrow switches behind Chris Brown, a double leg takedown, and quickly locks on a front face lock. Brown fights out with punches to the ribs, than an elbow to the back of the head knocking Sparrow down. Brown kicks Sparrow in the ribs as he tries to get up, Sparrow grabs Brown’s leg, punches Brown in the knee which makes Brown back off to the corner. Sparrow wraps Brown’s knee in the ropes, and the ref forces Sparrow to break. Brown takes advantage of this and pulls Sparrow down into the second buckle face first. Brown heads to the middle of the ring, charges at Sparrow, does a double knee to the back of Sparrow in the corner, cover, and a two count. Brown continues to attack Sparrow, kicks him to the mat, Brown comes off the ropes, and misses a knee drop to the face of Sparrow. Sparrow is up, starts a comeback with right and lefts, than gives a Mongolian Chop knocking Brown down. Sparrow picks up Brown, nails a Delay Vertical Suplex to Brown, comes off the ropes, lands a Guillotine Leg Drop, cover, and a two count. Sparrow chops Brown to the corner, lifts Brown up on the top turnbuckle, goes for the Pirates Plunge, but Brown stops the move from happening, grabs Sparrow, and plants him with a Spinebuster from the top. Brown goes for the cover, almost a three as Sparrow barely kicks out. Brown punches at Sparrow, than Sparrow reverses the Irish Whip, grabs him coming off, nails a Death Valley Driver, and calls for the end. Brown crawls to the corner as Sparrow goes after him, Sparrow blocks the refs view, Brown takes advantage of this, and back kicks Sparrow below the belt without the referee seeing it. Brown quickly rolls up Sparrow, grabs hold of the ropes for leverage, and gets the three without the referee seeing the illegality. Chris Brown gets somewhat of an upset over Captain Jack Sparrow and advances to the Venue Championship Battle Royal at Hot As Hell.
Ron Burgundy is standing by with The Crow.
Burgundy: A few weeks ago you said that you are setting out to become a contender for the NIWA World Heavyweight Championship. How has that quest been going for you?
The Crow: Like a lot of things, it will take time to achieve my goal. But when I do, it will be a sweet victory. All my hard work will have paid off when I finally hoist the NIWA World Heavyweight Championship over my head. But until than, my quest continues.
The Crow vs. Ed Monix
Ref: Big John McCarthy
The Crow starts by attacking Ed Monix as he is coming down the ramp. The Crow beats down on Monix, than throws him in the ring, and the bell sounds to officially start the match. The Crow stomps at the head of Monix, picks him up, and levels him with right hands. The Crow picks up Monix on his shoulder, drops him on the turnbuckle with Snake Eyes, than back drops Monix onto the turnbuckle bouncing Monix’s head off the buckle. The Crow then lifts up Monix in the Military Press Slam position, than drops him down on the ropes. The Crow finishes off Monix by nailing a Black Hole Slam, makes the cover, and gets the three.
Announcement is aired that at the next house show, the official contract signing for the NIWA World Heavyweight Championship match between Chuck Norris and Shawn Michaels will take place.
Non-Title Match
NIWA World Heavyweight Champion Chuck Norris vs. Ken Shamrock
Chuck Norris heads to the ring waiting for his opponent Ken Shamrock to come out, but instead the Russian National Anthem hits, and Zangief along with The Security head out to the ring. Zangief and The Security surround the ring, and Chuck Norris is looking around for who is coming first. Zangief makes the first move allowing Blade and Steve Wilkos to come up from behind and attack Norris without him seeing them. Now all three men are attacking the World Heavyweight Champion in the ring and it is 3 on 1. Shawn Michaels hits the ring, but Zangief heads to the outside, HBK attacks Blade and Wilkos knocking Wilkos to the outside, and giving Blade Sweet Chin Music. This allows Zangief to grab a chair, come back in the ring, bash HBK in the head with the chair laying him out. Zangief holds the chair over his head with Norris and HBK beneath him. Suddenly “Break it Down” by The Chris Warren Band hits, JTH appears on the ramp way with a baseball bat in hand, and runs to the ring. Zangief takes a swing and JTH dents the chair in. JTH takes another swing at Zangief as he darts to the outside. JTH heads to the outside, runs after Zangief leaving HBK and Norris laid out in the ring as the show ends.
