A highlight package shows what went down at Annualversary. It shows how new champions were crowned and how champions retained. The crowd is going nuts and in anticipation of the first match.
Juni & Juli vs. Kitana & Jade
Juni gives a dropkick to the back of Kitana while she is looking out to the crowd, Kitana quickly gets up, kicks Juni in the gut Irish Whip, and a Hair Takedown by Kitana. Kitana picks her up, a Hair Snapmare, than another, cover, and a two count. Irish Whip to the corner, Front Slam by Kitana, cover, and a two count. Kitana goes for it again, but Juni head scissors Kitana down to the mat, tags Juli, and thus Kitana tags Jade. Juli misses a roundhouse kick, Jade connects with a big kick, then a stalling body slam, climbs to the middle rope, and Diving Forearm to the face of Juli. Tag to Kitana, Jade hits a Powerslam as Kitana goes to the top rope, missing an Elbow Drop, and Juli tags in Juni. Juni rolls into a pin, and gets a two count. Juni gets distracted by Jade, Kitana chop blocks Juni in the leg, tags in Jade, the two hit a Double Face Buster and Jade makes the cover and gets the thre before Juli can make the breakup. Kitana and Jade are the victors.
A promo for Beach Wars is playing on the titontron. It shows the only match booked so far. It also shows the venue, location, and date of the event.
Vanna White is standing with the winners Kitana and Jade.
Vanna: My guests at this time are Kitana and Jade. How did that victory feel?
Kitana: It felt great Vanna. It felt so great that Jade and myself are going to stake a claim in the title hunt for the World Women's Tag Team Championship. You see, The Socialites may have beaten us once, which was a fluke, but they won't beat us again. You see we will dethrone them as NIWA World Women's Tag Team Champions and we don't care who we have to beat do that.
Jade: That's right Kitana, we will not be denied what is rightfully ours. They are just keeping those titles nice and warm. When the time comes, we will take those titles and there is nothing they will do to stop us.
Larry The Cable Guy vs. Chris Crocker
Chris Crocker gets right up in Larry The Cable Guy's face and starts trashing him. Larry starts a whined up, Crocker ducks for cover, Larry laughs at him, and stomps on his foot. Irish Whip and Crocker clubs Larry in the back. Crocker comes off the ropes, runs right into Larry, and is knocked out cold as Larry just laughs hysterically. Larry picks up Crocker and hits the Get-R-Done Powerslam for the three.
Larry: Now, that's how you get-r-done!
The Punisher vs. Bobby Flay
The Punisher gets Bobby Flay in the go behind and Flay reaches the ropes to break, but The Punisher gives a cheap shot to the back. The Punisher starts clubbing and stomping away. Side Headlock by The Punisher to Flay, Flay sends The Punisher off the ropes, The Punisher comes back with a Shoulder Block, comes off the ropes and Flay wraps up Punisher going for a Crucifix Pin, but Punisher uses his strength and turns it into a Samoan Drop, cover, and a two count. Flay gives desperation shots to the gut of Punisher that have little effect. Punisher gives a knee to the ribs then Irish Whip, Flay slips behind Punisher and starts wailing away at him, comes off the ropes and Punisher catches him with a massive clothesline. The Punisher calls for the end, locks on The Interrogator, and Flay quickly taps out. The Punisher is the victor.
Ron Burgundy is standing by with Ken Shamrock.
Burgundy: Ken, you lost to Tito Ortiz at Annualversary in a Lion's Den Match after you passed from a guillotine choke. Take a look.
The ending of the Lion's Den Match plays on the titontron.
Burgundy: Your thoughts?
Ken: Ron, there is no denying the fact that I lost. Ortiz was able to beat me putting an end to some unfinished business. I am a little bit frustrated that I couldn't pull out the win at Annualversary. Sorry your luck Bob Sapp, but I will have to take my frustrations out on you.
Ken Shamrock leaves the interview area and head to the ring for his match.
Ken Shamrock vs. Bob Sapp
Ken Shamrock quickly goes for the legs and Bob Sapp side steps the attempt. Sapp gets in the go behind, Shamrock spins around, grabs the arm, a trip takedown. Sapp floats over and into a headlock, Shamrock uses his strength, turns it into a Northern Lights Suplex bridging the neck for a pin, and a two count. Irish Whip by Shamrock, both men block each others Hip Toss attempts, Shamrock rolls up and grabs the leg of Sapp in a Leg Lock, but Sapp quickly fights out. Sapp kicks Shamrock in the gut and a straight punch to the face, off the ropes, Shamrock hits a Spinning Shoulder Tackle, comes off the ropes, a Flying Side Kick, than a Huracanrana. Shamrock takes Sapp down by the arm, quickly spins around to the legs, locks on the Ankle Lock, and Sapp taps out.
Zangief is somewhere backstage. He starts to cut a promo.
Zangief: Shawn Michaels, you cost me the NIWA World Heavyweight Championship at Annualversary. That is another thing that you should never have done. You are making critical mistakes Shawn. You keep sticking your nose where it doesn't belong. You should stay out of my business because you are going to what you have coming to you. You don't know where and you don't know when. So if I were you I would watch your back because I am going take you out for costing me the NIWA World Heavyweight Championship. If you think I am joking, than try me... TRY ME because I would love to see the end result!
"Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels vs. Captain Jack Sparrow
Shawn Michaels starts the match by kicking away at the legs of Captain Jack Sparrow and then a dropkick to the face. HBK goes to the middle rope, jumps off, but Sparrow catches him, hits a Swinging Neck Breaker, than a clothesline, cover, and a two count. Sparrow picks up HBK and a suplex. HBK then starts kicking back at Sparrow followed by some huge knife edge chops. Irish Whip is reversed, HBK does his trademark turnbuckle flip in the corner, comes back down, Sparrow goes for a Hangmans Neck Breaker, but HBK slips behind, hits an Inverted Atomic Drop, and a clothesline. Irish Whip is reversed by Sparrow, but HBK comes back with a Flying Forearm and nip-up by HBK. HBK goes to the top and hits the HBK Elbow Drop and starts tuning up the band. Zangief comes out with a chair and smashes HBK in the head with the chair causing the disqualification and HBK is busted open. Zangief continues to hammer away at HBK who is lifeless on the mat as it takes five referees to finally get Zangief off of HBK. Zangief poses over the lifeless body of HBK as the show ends.
